AT A GLANCE
English 1 on 1 is a non-profit organization striving to break the language barrier worldwide. The ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English is a crucial component of living in countries all over the world. With an ever-increasing population of non-English speaking refugees and immigrants, the language barrier is becoming a prevalent issue. Our goal is to give students the resources they need to succeed in the workforce and have the ability to communicate all over the world as English is a universal language. To do this, we teach our students English by implementing vocabulary and engaging activities. Our lessons vary in skills taught as we have separate levels that are tailored to a student's English-learning level. Making A Difference
TEACHING ENGLISH
We are committed to providing the best resources for our students and this includes providing the best teachers. English 1 on 1 teachers' all go through extensive workshops so they are prepared to teach.
CREATING LESSONS
All of our lessons are catered towards the unique needs of our students. We know that every student wants to learn something different, and our lesson creators have been trained to create clean, organized lessons to serve these needs.
BUILDING COMMUNITY
Through lessons, teachers get to connect with their students and learn more about their culture whilst students are given the opportunity to speak with teachers in order to improve their conversational skills. English 1 on 1 places a great emphasis on this sort of interaction.
